Lighting

For this session I decided to stay inside my home and use two different lights, which were natural light and the household lights. Since I did this during the day it was easy to get shadows while shooting under natural light. On the other hand the lights in the kitchen and hallway were more tricky. My friends were busy and I didn’t have anyone around me while I did this so I decided to use a pair of shoes I had. I was worried that the lighting I had wouldn’t create the same type of images I saw on the powerpoint since I did not have studio lights. The pictures came out better than I expected though. For example, one of my photos I had to use the bathroom door and light from the hallway so I could create a shot of side lighting. It was an interesting process, as I was finding ways to create somewhat professional photos with minimal equipment.
